First discovered as a cheeky 7-year-old living in the rubble of the Buddhas of Bamiyan, Mir and his family experienced many obstacles and adventures while war waged around them. By 2021, he had carved out a successful job in Kabul working as a news & sports cameraman with a wife – the outspoken and resourceful Shukria - and young family of his own.
