Western Cape – Africa's Garden Eden

PLAY

Discover the beauty, diversity, and uniqueness of the South African Province of Western Cape and the people who call it home!

We meet Lindy and her boyfriend Franz, who organise workshops about creating Lasagne and pasta dishes from Kelp-alges. We freedive with James in the kelp Forests to discover a whole new universe, with sharks, sealions and all kind of wild creatures. Dede shows us the prison cell of Nelson Mandela at Robben Island. They were neighbours and became friends. Diethelm runs a guesthouse and looks after his workers with particular care. Felix is one of them. He lives in a tiny house with 4 families. Roland is a successful e-bike-pioneer.

They all are linked to each other by a deep fascination and love for this incredible part of the world. We get access to their life and are part of a unique journey through Western Cape.
