Trentino – Jewel of the Italian Alps

PLAY

Explore the hidden beauty of Trentino, Italy's preserved Alpine region, where nature parks and passionate locals strive to protect the breathtaking landscape and promote a sustainable future.

Trentino, in the north of Italy, is one of the most preserved areas of the Alps and home to a breathtaking natural scenery that is comparatively unknown.

The first nature parks in Trentino were founded more than 50 years ago. In the backdrop of fascinating images of mountains, lakes and forests, the film explores the parks, which make up the majority of the protected landscape and showcases that the unique mountain landscape makes the power of nature seem more significant with every meter of altitude. The people who live here feel a close connection to nature and wildlife. Their ambition is to protect the ecosystem. Our protagonists are proud of their land and have often been connected to Trentino for generations. The younger generation is more than ever committed to the green future, looking for ways to preserve this unique natural and animal world in its diversity and to make the best use of local resources.
