Christmas ‘Chris’ Whitaker is the CEO of a successful toy company, CJ Toys, which she co-founded in college with her best friend, Joe Sullivan. Chris has been entirely focused on growing CJ Toys into a massive toy maker but has lost sight of why she founded the company in the first place. She has also become estranged from Joe, who left the business 10-years-ago. But since Joe’s departure, business has been booming!
And now, Chris is enticed by a lucrative offer to merge her company with a big player in the toy biz, whose successful chair, Kathleen Kellerman (60s), is soon to be retiring. But there’s a catch: Joe is still legally co-owner of CJ Toys and Chris needs him to sign off on the merger. At first Joe refuses to sign the papers, but believing Chris needs a reminder of the true meaning of gifts and Christmas, he tells her that if she helps volunteer at the annual toy drive jamboree, he will sign-off on the merger.
As Chris volunteers, and spends more time with Joe, she starts to realize that she’s completely lost sight of Christmas and why she got into toy making in the first place. Sparks fly and Chris rediscovers the magic and passion of quality toymaking as she and Joe grow closer than ever before.
