Emerald Forest - Return of the Tigers

PLAY

Emerald Forest - Return of the Tigers celebrates a decade of the amazing success that will forever be etched in the conservationists’ Hall of Fame as it explores the rich flora and fauna of the region and other wildlife attractions.

The Panna National Park is the 22nd tiger reserve of India and contains the last remaining tiger habitat of North Madhya Pradesh. In 2009, over 40 tigers disappeared mainly due to poaching and global warming. The forest management was quick to come up with a dynamic plan that dealt with the threat, and in less than 10 years, the Panna Reserve once again has more than 50 tigers.
