Fishing For Giants

Watch Andy Coetzee brave one of the most treacherous rivers on the planet, enter uncharted regions of the Indian Ocean, and dive into the predator-laden waters of Western Africa on his quest to find the Nile perch, the dogtooth tuna, and the giant barracuda.

Extreme angler Andy Coetzee has travelled the world in search of the most elusive fish on the planet. But a few big fish still elude him, and the Nile perch is on his red list. Catching one of these legendary monsters will quite possibly be the highlight of his fishing career.

But that’s easier said than done – its habitat is as wild as the fishing stories that surround it. Travelling to Lake Victoria, Andy will need his lifetime of experience to succeed in landing a giant that can weigh up to 200 kilos.
