The Brothers' Pride

PLAY

Just a year old, lion cubs Ziggy and Prince are outcasts. In a brutal pride takeover, their siblings were killed and they fled with their mother, Rosa, and their aunts. Now the family is scraping a living on the fringes of lion society.

Life is tough with no males to protect them. Leopards, hippos, buffalo and even warthogs are dangerous to young cubs. But nothing is more dangerous to a lion cub than a grown male lion. He will kill them if they are not his own. With two new males roaming the area, Rosa must find a way to keep her cubs safe from the impending threat.

Rosa has lost cubs before, and she’s not willing to do it again. A last-ditch gamble sees her take the cubs back to their old pride, called the Punks. The three males that cast them out are still in control. It’s a huge risk. Clever and deceptive, Rosa flirts with the same lions that killed her other cubs. It’s a desperate attempt to get the Punks to accept her and her family as their own, and win their protection.

But when the lionesses of the Punk pride see their males pay attention to the outcast females, a fight ensues. Prince is wounded, and Ziggy makes a run for it. Both cubs are separated from their pride. They’re too young to make it alone - it’s a race against time for Rosa to find them.

Will Prince and Ziggy survive?
