For ages gone by is has been humanity’s dream to soar through the skies like a bird. To feel the freedom of the vast sky, the weightlessness of flight and maybe to get gain a new perspective on our own lives. And if we could look down on our world from above, what would we see? The incredible diversity of landscapes, texture and color carpeting the planet. But also the opportunities created for wildlife and an understanding of the interconnectedness of all life.

From mountains to the ocean, the complex relationships found all over the Earth can only be fully appreciated when we look at the world from above. Scientists believe that we need 50% of land and sea habitats to be connected to maintain planetary health. Like the soaring birds our view of Earth is a privileged one – we have a responsibility to keep the world wild for as long as we are here.
