Time Flies

As humans we like to think we can control everything, changing the course of water, reclaiming land, replanting deserts – we constantly remodel the natural world to suit our needs. But there’s one thing we can’t control: the passing of time. However, we can change how we see things; using cameras we can start to see the world in different time frames. Now we can see animals following the sun, mass movements of the changing seasons and even the vast impact of the changing weather. Watch what happens when time flies… 
 
Time lapse can be a useful tool to the patient wildlife watcher. It can help us understand the slow movers of the world, like how a snail can move without having any legs. Or it can reveal behavioural patterns previously invisible. From ants to crocodiles, we can learn so much more when you speed things up a little.
