The natural world is in crisis. For years humanity has exploited the planet’s resources, and the creatures that live here.
Growth and innovation can be a marvelous thing, but at what cost to our one and only planet? When we continue to push ahead blindly, it’s more often than not Mother Nature that pays the price.
Now it is time for us to rally – to take heed of the damage we’re causing and start to turn back the tide. If we manage resources better and give ecosystems the time to repair, the earth could recover. Conservation efforts are underway; breeding programs help preserve endangered species, habitats are being protected from development and ecosystems are being reclaimed. Now is the time to stop the natural world footing our bill – for us to recognize our part in this crisis, and redress the balance of the cost of progress.
