Baby Elephant School follows Welsh biologist and elephant researcher, Lizzie Daly, as she helps to prepare 60 mischievous elephant orphans for their return to the wild.
Set at the world’s largest baby elephant sanctuary in Sri Lanka, Lizzie joins the local carers as a first wave of baby eles are released.
For Lizzie, it’s a dream come true. Not only will she get the chance to become an elephant foster Mum and help with new rescues, but her expertise in animal tracking will allow her to support the team in monitoring each orphan’s progress over their first 6 months in the wild.
