PLAY

This is Andriy's story, and Mariupol is his hometown.

In the spring of 2022, the whole world watched live as Russian troops destroyed the Ukrainian city of Mariupol, bearing witness to the suffering endured by those unfortunate enough to be present during the blockade. Andriy was born and brought up in Mariupol. His mother died there during the blockade last year. Andriy still hasn't been able to visit her grave - Mariupol and its surroundings have been under occupation for a year now. How does this city live now? Who is left in it? What have the invaders done to Mariupol and its people?
