For the last 46 years, the job of helping people has been the company’s main focus and Miss World has done so much. From delivering aid in times of crisis to the inception of outreach programmes such as providing fresh drinking water in Haiti, leprosy projects, operation hunger support, a drive for cleft palate surgery in Africa, in fact the global reach of these projects is staggering.
Hundreds of millions of dollars is being raised by Miss World Organisations to support the disadvantaged in over 100 countries This is the story that has never been told, the story of what happens when the gowns and tiaras disappear and the shirt sleeves get rolled up in preparation for ‘Beauty with a Purpose’.
