Remarkable Rabbits

Bugs Bunny has nothing on real rabbits and hares!

Ninety percent of the earth’s land mass is home to a creature so tenacious – yet so adorable that it rarely gets the respect it deserves. Rabbits and hares are the play a critical role in landscapes as diverse as Canada’s northern boreal forest to the deserts of Arizona to the swamps of Missouri. There are over 60 kinds of wild rabbits and hares and contrary to popular belief, despite their remarkable ability to reproduce, many of them are actually in danger of being eradicated.
