The series take place at youth soccer World Cup called FFI (Football Frontier International).
The story will focus on Asuto Inamori & Ryouhei Haizaki (both from Raimon Junior High School), Yuuma Nosaka and captain Mamoru Endo. There will be also new characters such as Mitsuru Ichihoshi (voiced by Tomohiro Ohmachi), who used to pay at a football club overseas and now join as a new teammate. With the help of their cunning coach Zhao Jinyun and the inexplicable newcomer Ichihoshi Mitsuru, Inazuma Japan must defend the world of soccer in their most difficult challenge yet.
With Mitsuru on board, Inazuma is ready to set sail on the stormy sea of competitive international football.
