Australian Celebrity Chef John Torode presents a new ten-part series tapping in to the growing popularity of Korean food.

In this series, John jets off on his culinary travels to tackle a whole new territory and range of dishes.

Throughout the series, John travels around South Korea, to the mountains, the cities, the countryside and the coast and works his way through some of the nation’s top 100 dishes. Then in his kitchen in Gangnam, Seoul, he creates his own version of a Korean classic with a modern twist.

John Douglas Torode is an Australian celebrity chef. He moved to the UK in the 1990s and began working at Conran Group’s restaurants. After first appearing on television on ITV1’s This Morning, he started presenting a revamped Masterchef on BBC 1 in 2005. He is a restaurateur; former ownder of the Luxe and a second restaurant, Smiths of Smithfield. He has written a number of cookbooks. He is best known for A Cook Abroad (2015), Masterchef (2005), and Celebrity Masterchef (2006).
