The Internationalists

PLAY

A raw and unflinching look at bravery, recklessness, and the powerful pull of purpose from across the globe.

Ordinary lives, extraordinary choices—a visceral, character-driven exploration of individuals who volunteer to fight in a modern war, for a cause far from their borders.

The Internationalists is a visceral, character-driven documentary that follows three foreign volunteers—Harry “Macer Gifford” Rowe, Kraig “Tuc” French, and Damien “Salty” Rodriguez—as they become unlikely brothers in Ukraine’s war against Russia. Told through their perspectives, the film blends raw frontline footage, intimate master interviews shot in Ukraine, drone cinematography, and personal video diaries into a tense, emotional, and deeply human three-act narrative.
