This series is based on New York Times best-selling novels by Charlaine Harris whose work inspired True Blood.
At a gathering of mystery and true crime fans, Aurora Teagarden’s nephew, Phillip, is accused of murder when an unplanned onstage blackout during the play in which he is performing ends, revealing Phillip holding the bloody knife that has just killed one of the other performers.
The investigation begins with only one or two possible suspects, but that list soon grows as Aurora and her friends discover more about the deceased, and those in the town who might have cause to want her dead.
